Directions
From Galway take the N84 to Castlebar. After 22 km (16 miles) you arrive at Headford. At the junction in its centre (the N84 turns rightwards) turn to the left to Greenfield.
Follow this road for 3 km (2 miles). After a cemetery on your right side there is a small road to the right at a left-hand bend.
Follow this road for 5 km (3 miles). At a right-hand bend the private road to Lighthouse Lodge starts to the left. Pass the iron gate (usually open).
Follow this private road for a few 100 metres. Just before the lake you reach the cottage (on the left).
